Port Tampa Bay Delivers Record-Breaking Performance

Port Tampa Bay’s record-breaking performance in 2025 underscores its role as Florida’s gateway to global trade and a critical driver of the state’s economy.

Last year, the port handled more than 262,000 containers, with petroleum, cement and juice among its leading commodities, along with automobiles and steel in general cargo. These volumes reflect continued growth across both energy and consumer supply chains.

This strong performance supports the port’s A-plus credit rating from Fitch and positions Port Tampa Bay to meet Florida’s expanding trade and infrastructure needs well into the future.

Glovis America Visits Port Tampa Bay

Port Tampa Bay recently welcomed Emerson Lee, head of Americas, and other representatives from Glovis America to explore opportunities to further strengthen the partnership.

Since the collaboration began in 2022, Glovis America has processed more than 130,000 vehicles through the port, with operations continuing to scale to meet growing demand.

Port Tampa Bay values this partnership and looks forward to its continued expansion in support of regional economic growth and enhanced automotive trade.
