Greater Reach, More Efficiency

Port Tampa Bay will be adding two new post Panamax gantry cranes in 2026 to enhance the ports’ capability to handle lift height up to 11 containers high and 16 containers reach (check with OPS/ENG on this capability).  This will mean a total of six post Panamax gantry cranes (again, check with OPS/ENG to confirm) capable of working three large container ships at a time (confirm with OPS/ENG).  This new equipment will enable Port Tampa Bay to continue operating at high efficiency and maintain high productivity.
