On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Seacat Line delivered cold containers of fresh pineapples from Chestnut Hill Farms. The pineapples shipped from the Port of Moin, Costa Rica to Port Tampa Bay aboard the new vessel M/V Juice Express. Crews at Port Logistics Refrigerated Services unloaded the pineapples at their berth on Saturday.

On Monday, September 17, 2018, Port Tampa Bay surpassed the million cruise passenger mark when 1,000,524 passengers came through the Port. This past weekend, thousands more passengers continued to enjoy the Tampa area as three more ships called at port.

Tampa, Fl. – The Glory, a vessel packed with local donations to aid victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, left Port Tampa Bay this afternoon.

Tampa, Fl. – The vessel Glory is back at Port Tampa Bay after a nearly two month journey, delivering local Tampa Bay area supplies to Puerto Rico. After arriving in Tampa on Tuesday, the Glory was once again loaded with donations, including hundreds of mattresses at Port Tampa Bay’s cold storage facility, Port Logistics Refrigerated Services. Other supplies, including medical supplies and building materials, have been loaded on containers and stacked on the Glory for its journey back to Puerto Rico at the end of the week.
