Port Tampa Bay Welcomes New CMA CGM Container Service

Port Tampa Bay is pleased to welcome the announcement by the CMA CGM Group, a leading worldwide shipping group, that it will begin serving Port Tampa Bay in late May 2019 on its Pacific Express 3, or PEX3 service. The announcement makes the second direct Asia service announcement that Port Tampa Bay has received from carriers in the last 3 months.

First Shipment Of Fresh Pineapples Arrive At Port Tampa Bay

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Seacat Line delivered cold containers of fresh pineapples from Chestnut Hill Farms. The pineapples shipped from the Port of Moin, Costa Rica to Port Tampa Bay aboard the new vessel M/V Juice Express. Crews at Port Logistics Refrigerated Services unloaded the pineapples at their berth on Saturday.

The Glory Returns to Port Tampa Bay Briefly Before Heading Back to Puerto Rico

Tampa, Fl. – The vessel Glory is back at Port Tampa Bay after a nearly two month journey, delivering local Tampa Bay area supplies to Puerto Rico. After arriving in Tampa on Tuesday, the Glory was once again loaded with donations, including hundreds of mattresses at Port Tampa Bay’s cold storage facility, Port Logistics Refrigerated Services. Other supplies, including medical supplies and building materials, have been loaded on containers and stacked on the Glory for its journey back to Puerto Rico at the end of the week.
