What are your main responsibilities? Port protection, boating safety, rescues

What do you love most about your job? Everything. I love being on the water and enjoying the outdoors. I enjoy helping people out in need.

What advice would you give to the younger generation? Stay out of mischief and treat people fairly.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? My father was a deputy and I followed in his footsteps. It's been a great choice.

When you are not at work, what do you enjoy doing? Riding my motorcycle, fishing, boating, hunting, camping, hunting.spending time with my kids.
