- Port Tampa Bay is committed to helping raise awareness of cancer–and promoting the chance of survival through its timely discovery and treatment that can save lives. In support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) blood cancer awareness month in September and Breast Cancer Awareness in October, our headquarter's globe will be lit in the evenings for the next two months (Red in September/Pink in October).
- Port Tampa Bay celebrated the maiden voyage of one of the largest ships to call on the Port and serve one of our greatest parters in the Tampa Bay area, Tampa International Airport. Vulcan Materials Company's newest vessel, M/V Donald M. James, arrived at Port Tampa Bay on Sunday, July 8 2018 after picking up its first cargo from Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula
- Tampa, Fl. - The vessel Glory is back at Port Tampa Bay after a nearly two month journey, delivering local Tampa Bay area supplies to Puerto Rico. After arriving in Tampa on Tuesday, the Glory was once again loaded with donations, including hundreds of mattresses at Port Tampa Bay's cold storage facility, Port Logistics Refrigerated Services. Other supplies, including medical supplies and building materials, have been loaded on containers and stacked on the Glory for its journey back to Puerto Rico at the end of the week.
