- On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Seacat Line delivered cold containers of fresh pineapples from Chestnut Hill Farms. The pineapples shipped from the Port of Moin, Costa Rica to Port Tampa Bay aboard the new vessel M/V Juice Express. Crews at Port Logistics Refrigerated Services unloaded the pineapples at their berth on Saturday.
- Port Tampa Bay is committed to helping raise awareness of cancer–and promoting the chance of survival through its timely discovery and treatment that can save lives. In support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) blood cancer awareness month in September and Breast Cancer Awareness in October, our headquarter's globe will be lit in the evenings for the next two months (Red in September/Pink in October).
- Port Tampa Bay celebrated the maiden voyage of one of the largest ships to call on the Port and serve one of our greatest parters in the Tampa Bay area, Tampa International Airport. Vulcan Materials Company's newest vessel, M/V Donald M. James, arrived at Port Tampa Bay on Sunday, July 8 2018 after picking up its first cargo from Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula
